Introduction

Welcome to Market Square. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our platform, website, and
services. Market Square is a digital marketplace that facilitates transactions between independent
third-party vendors (‘Vendors’) and customers (‘Buyers’).

By accessing or using Market Square, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree
with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.

Definitions

Marketplace

The digital ecosystem and infrastructure provided
by Market Square India.

Vendor

Independent sellers who list products or services
on the platform.

Buyer

Individual or entity browsing or purchasing items through the platform.

Platform

Collectively refers to the Market Square website, mobile apps, and backend systems.

User Accounts

To access certain features of Market Square, you may be required to register for an account. You
agree to:
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your
    account.

  • Promptly notify Market Square if you discover or otherwise suspect any security breaches related
    to the Services or your account.

Vendor / Seller Terms

Vendors are independent contractors and not employees or agents of Market Square.

Quality & Accuracy
Vendors must provide high-quality, accurate
descriptions and images for all listed products.

Pricing & Shipping
Vendors are responsible for setting fair prices and
managing the fulfillment of orders promptly.

Orders & Payments

Market Square utilizes secure third-party payment processors. By completing a purchase, you agree
to pay all charges incurred, including shipping fees and applicable taxes.
Platform Fee Disclosure: Market Square retains a commission on each successful transaction. Vendor
payouts are processed following the verification of delivery.

Shipping & Delivery

Vendors are responsible for the safe delivery of items to Buyers. Shipping timelines, methods, and
costs vary by Vendor and are specified at the time of purchase. Market Square provides tracking
integration where available but does not guarantee carrier performance.

Returns & Refunds

Return policies are established by individual Vendors. Buyers should review the specific return policy
of a Vendor before making a purchase.
Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between a Buyer and a Vendor, we encourage parties to resolve the issue through our
Platform messaging system. Market Square reserves the right to intervene in cases of non-responsiveness or
fraudulent behavior.

Prohibited Activities

Users may not use the platform for:

Sale of illegal, counterfeit, or regulated items.

Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive business practices.

Harassment of other users or vendors.

Data scraping or platform manipulation.

Intellectual Property

The Market Square name, logo, and platform design are protected by trademark and copyright laws.
Vendors grant Market Square a non-exclusive license to use product images and descriptions for
promotional purposes.

Limitation of Liability

Market Square acts solely as a facilitator. We are not responsible for the quality,
safety, or legality of items listed by vendors. In no event shall Market Square be
liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes
shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra.
